La Posada Dl Mar is on Carrer del Pont, in Dénia, on the Costa Blanca in Alicante province. The town is known for Dénia Castle, on a hilltop above the old quarter, and for its harbour, a ferry gateway to the Balearic Islands.
Dénia has been designated a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, recognised for its rice-based and seafood cuisine, including the local red prawn. The Montgó Natural Park, between Dénia and Xàbia, offers hiking routes with views over the coast.
