Hotel ínstales is on Avenida Galápagos, in Nueva Loja, also known as Lago Agrio, capital of the Amazonian province of Sucumbíos, in northeastern Ecuador. The city grew up around oil exploration in the region, becoming the main urban centre of this part of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Nueva Loja is a common starting point for visiting the Cuyabeno Wildlife Production Reserve, one of the protected areas of the Ecuadorian Amazon, known for its biodiversity and the indigenous communities of the region.
